Units

Each side has several different buildings and units. Understanding what they are and what their function is will be an essential part of your strategy. Let's go over what units and buildings each side has at their disposal.

Substrate Units & Buildings

 

Units

 

  • Frigates
    • Reaper: Medium-range frigate. Focus fires on one enemy at a time.
    • Martyr: Short-range frigate. Good against small units.
    • Capacitor: Energy-recharging support frigate.
    • Sky Cleanser: Anti-air and anti-drone frigate.

 

  • Cruisers
    • Destructor: Anti-building cruiser
    • Avenger: Anti-frigate cruiser
    • Drone Hive: Area control cruiser
    • Mauler: Heavy short-range cruiser

 

  • Aircraft
    • Dominator: Versatile anti-air and anti-ground fighter
    • Punisher: Heavy bomber with armor-piercing weaponry
    • Searcher: Unarmed scout aircraft

 

  • Dreadnoughts
    • Overmind: Capital ship that serves as an armed and mobile drone platform
    • Retributor: Assault Dreadnought. Offense-minded capital ship with a variety of weaponry.
    • Savager: Dreadnought Destroyer. Capital ship with a tendency to quickly vaporize whatever it focuses on

 

  • Constructor: Constructs buildings

Buildings

  • Resources
    • Metal Extractor: Produces 1 metal per second. Must be built on Metal Deposit
    • Radioactives Harvester: Produces 1 radioactive per second. Must be built on a Radioactives Deposit
    • Quantum Archive: Generates Quanta used to unlock global bonuses or call down orbital support actions
    • Amplifier: Place on a power generator to increase the output of all resources in that region

 

  • Production
    • Assembly: Constructs frigates, cruisers, and aircraft
    • Advanced Assembly: Constructs Dreadnoughts

 

  • Defenses
    • Listening Post: Detects enemy forces at extreme range
    • Annihilator: Annihilates approaching enemy ground units
    • Blossom Launcher: Fires rocket volleys at enemy aircraft
    • Drone MRV: Launches arcing drone pods at incoming ground units for heavy area damage
    • Regenerator: Restores shield integrity of nearby units and structures

 

  • Orbitals
    • Energy Modulator: Unlocks the “boost” and “overcharge” orbital calldowns
    • Subspace Streamer: Unlocks the “detonate” and “regenerate” orbital calldowns
    • Gateway: Unlocks the “avatar” orbital calldown
    • Orbital Drone Relay: Unlocks the “drone swarm” and kills orbital calldowns
    • Quantum Jammer: Prevents enemy orbital actions nearby

 

Post-Human Coalition Units and Buildings

Units

  • Frigates
    • Hermes: Weak radar scout frigate
    • Brute: Armed short-range frigate
    • Archer: Light rocket frigate
    • Medic: Healing and energy-recharging support unit

 

  • Cruisers
    • Artemis: Long-range artillery cruiser
    • Zeus: Heavy armed cruiser
    • Apollo: Anti-air and anti-drone cruiser
    • Nemesis: Anti-dreadnought sniper unit

 

  • Dreadnoughts
    • Cronus: Siege Dreadnought; long-range, indirect-fire capital ship deadly against buildings or as a defensive unit
    • Hyperion: Area dominance Dreadnought; capital ship with unsurpassed staying power in the field
    • Prometheus: Dreadnought Killer; capital ship capable of incredible bursts of damage against single targets

 

  • Aircraft
    • Pan: Weak scout aircraft
    • Fury: Air-to-air fighter aircraft
    • Hades: Ground attack bomber aircraft

 

  • Engineer: Constructs buildings

  • Defenses
    • Smarty System: Multi-purpose rocket battery, effective against light air or ground units
    • Sensor Array: Radar station that detects enemy structures and units at extreme range
    • Sentinel Turret: Heavy cannon, effective against cruisers and dreadnoughts
    • Falcon AA: Flak-firing anti-air turret
    • Drone Bay: Maintains a devastating defensive drone swarm that is vulnerable to enemy anti-air
    • Repair Bay: Maintains a potent repair drone swarm that is vulnerable to enemy anti-air

 

  • Orbitals
    • Orbital Fabricator: Unlocks the “Engineer Drop” and “Incursion” global abilities
    • Weapons Lab: Unlocks the “Plasma Storm” and “Carving Turret” global abilities
    • Power Regulator: Unlocks the “Amplify” global ability
    • Orbital Command: Unlocks “Orbital Strike” global ability
    • Energy Projector: Unlocks “Intensive Care” and “EMP Pulse” global abilities
    • Orbital Nullifier: Prevents enemy orbital actions nearby
